Good Tree Open House After successfully launching its first event, Good Tree Academy will be having its first Open House on June 18th 2009. Parents interested in submitting their child(ren)’s application, seeking more information about the school, applicants for Hifz, Arabic, and other teaching positions are encouraged to join the administration on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. to learn more and process their applications. Good Tree staff members are busy preparing for this event and want to ensure interested families and candidates that more information and on-site activities will be provided, Insha’Allah. “We’re very excited to have this event take place and share our school’s philosophy with visitors,” mentions Noura Castillon, teaching specialist. “Hifz and Arabic being such an important part of our academic program, we want to extend a warm welcome to those who are interested in teaching these classes to join us on the 18th during the Open House,” adds Wadud Hassan. Good Tree Academy administration understands that families would like to participate in an on-site application submission process, so they are encouraged to bring completed application forms to the Open House event. “We’d like to remind parents to bring originals or copies of their child’s birth certificate, social security card, report cards, recent standardized test results, immunization records, application fees, and two letters of recommendation with their application,” states Leiya Hassan, “Without these it’s unlikely the application will be accepted.” Complete details of admissions requirements may be found online along with the application at www.GoodTreeAcademy.org.
